Not Your Ideal Setup? Practice Anyway.

Practice anyway

Practice doesn’t always happen under ideal conditions.

Right now, that means sitting on a bench with a guitar while my kid runs around the playground.

Guitar isn’t my primary instrument. But it’s lightweight, easy to bring along, and this one can amplify itself.

So today, this is what I’m practicing with.

Not your ideal setup? Practice anyway. Whenever. Wherever. However.

Work With What You Have

There will probably always be a better place to practice.

More time. Your primary instrument. Your usual setup. Fewer distractions.

But waiting for everything to line up can easily become a reason not to practice at all.

Sometimes the best practice setup is simply the one that’s available.

Maybe you only have a few minutes. Maybe you’re somewhere you wouldn’t normally practice. Maybe the instrument in your hands isn’t even your first choice.

That’s okay.

Your practice doesn’t have to look ideal to be worthwhile.

Use the time you have. Use what’s available. Keep making music.

Not your ideal setup? Practice anyway. Whenever. Wherever. However.
